Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Dr. Harold Bafitis is BOARD CERTIFIED IN GENERAL SURGERY. Dr. Bafitis is BOARD CERTIFIED IN PLASTIC SURGERY and has achieved the coveted title of FELLOW (FACOS) in the College of Surgeons. In 1984 Dr. Bafitis was honored by being selected to be a plastic surgery board member to the American Osteopathic board of Surgery. He has completed 2 years of training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Plastic Surgery Institute and affiliated Hospitals in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dr. Bafitis graduated with Honors from the University of Maryland, College Park. He obtained a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health., Houston Health Science Center, Houston Texas. Dr. Bafitis earned his medical degree Cum Laude, from the North Texas State University Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Bafitis completed a full 5 year general surgery residency at Grand view Medical Center, Dayton Ohio, affiliated with Ohio University's Medical School.

Dr. Bafitis is BOARD CERTIFIED IN PLASTIC SURGERY, while focusing his practice to Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, he is also BOARD CERTIFIED IN GENERAL SURGERY.

In the year 2000 Dr. Bafitis was chosen to be CHAIRMAN of the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery; inclusive of all the boards' sub-specialties in surgery for the United States.
