Varicose Veins / Spider Veins
These veins arise as a result of leaky vein valves, a condition that is usually hereditary.
Although there is little you can do to prevent them, there is a lot that can be done to eliminate them.
Since they have no useful purpose, the only consequence of elimination is improved self image and confidence. If they are eliminated, the same veins will not recur. New vessels may arise but can easily be treated during their formation with less treatment than the more longstanding vessels.
